MILFs Night In: This Is Us; An Intro to the Buffoonery
We've all been there, hiding in the bathroom with a stash of chocolate, seeking just a moment of peace from the whirlwind of motherhood. That's right, you're not the only one! Welcome, friends, to the MILFs Night In Podcast, we’re your hosts, Hannah and Tribecca, and we’re ready to swap stories from the frontlines of parenting with a hefty side of humor. It's our maiden voyage into the podcasting universe, and we're thrilled to have you aboard for a journey of real talk, belly laughs, and the kind of solidarity that only fellow moms can offer. Buckle up as we navigate the bedlam and beauty of raising our little ones, sharing everything from our kids' most ridiculous antics to the heartfelt moments that catch us by surprise.
We don't just want to talk at you; we want to talk with you. That's why we're fostering a community where your voice is heard, and your stories become part of our tapestry. Each episode is a promise to peel back the curtain on the not-so-glamorous, yet incredibly rewarding, life of a mom. Together, we'll delve into the nitty-gritty of what it means to juggle diapers, deadlines, and the occasional meltdown (ours, not the kids'—well, sometimes the kids'). So, grab your headphones, and let's get real. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a newbie navigating the vast ocean of motherhood, we're here to assure you that it's okay to not have all the answers. Let's laugh, learn, and lean on each other, because, let's face it, we all need a tribe who gets it.

Hey guys, how are we doing? I'm Hannah, it's Rebecca. Hi, hi. Welcome to Mil-Side and Podcast.
Speaker 2:The only podcast that lasts longer than your baby daddy. So this is our introduction video. We wanted to introduce ourselves a little bit, tell you what we're about, what our podcast is about, why you should continue listening and listening to and watching us. Yeah, yeah so why don't you go first?
Speaker 1:Okay, so I'm Hannah. Hey guys, I am a mother of one. I have a single daughter. Me and Rebecca became friends through our job that we have together. But no, we just kind of like came together and we realized that honestly, we really just just vibe really well together and I just like the energy that we give off to each other and the people that we surround ourselves with most of the time. Every time somebody's around us, they end up having a great attitude by the time they leave. We're super goofy and just love everybody. Really honestly, like there's not anybody who come, unless you mean Jimmy.
Speaker 2:Don't mean her.
Speaker 1:Don't mean me. I don't know if you all realize it. I'm like super, super tiny, but my attitude is 100, bro, don't come at me.
Speaker 2:All right. Well, I'm Rebecca, I'm 26. Sorry, I'm 24. I got two babies, liliana and Phoenix, and they are wonderful little gremlins, me and Hannah. Like she said, we became friends just from working together. We have just an undeniable chemistry, and we decided one day after I think it like actually was the day that I tried to shoot that basket into the video basket and I missed horribly she full cove-y right Everything and missed the whole basket it veered right very hard.
Speaker 2:Yeah, so right, that shit took a hard why? Yeah, okay so, but it was like I think it was that day that that happened, where we were like we really made a do this podcast.
Speaker 1:At least like three tables caught that itself and they were just like bro, you're not ridiculous and I was just like you people, don't tell me all the time that we are just hilarious. Yeah we are, we definitely are.
Speaker 2:So I think for that reason we really wanted to like share our energy.
Speaker 1:Yeah, and then on top of that, like we're moms, like that's another reason that we bonded as well, like she had when we first met. She only had Lily, and I had just recently had Jessica, because Lily is just about a year older than Jessica, do you believe. And so like we just kind of had that to bond over as well. And then she had Mr Phoenix and I have a lot of.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I have a lot of little brothers. I'm the oldest of like six younger boys. I have more than that, but like boys just in general. There's six of them and they're all younger than me. I got to see them all as babies, so I'm definitely like a little boy.
Speaker 2:Mom I'd love to have my little boy, so I just kind of use her little boy as my job. I think everybody at the job is like claiming Phoenix in some type of way or another. So cute, honestly, phoenix should be the mascot of Milf Snack Inc.
Speaker 1:It's your cheeks when you get the picture of him in the bathtub, like if I pull it, you just go like his little head like.
Speaker 2:You watch a Milf Snack Inc. Get ready. Oh my god. That would be great. Honestly, like, like I said, we should put for kids, we should do product of a Milf On the shirts, that would be perfect. And the neck faces. That's a little too much.
Speaker 1:Jessica's full face Pictures when she sees when she was like In the arm, baby, you know I'm saying, and now she's like a walk around the floor and get in this shit, baby.
Speaker 2:But she'll see it. She's like that mommy, that's a baby. I'm like I see you.
Speaker 1:She's like no, that's you, that's a baby. Yeah, I'm like it was you as a baby.
Speaker 2:Yeah, so Lily does that same thing, you know. I'll show her pictures of herself and like she can differentiate the difference between her and Phoenix, but she's seeing pictures of me as a baby and she thinks that's her.
Speaker 1:Now Jessica won't knowledge pictures of me as a baby for the longest time she's like absolutely not. You were never a child. You've always been mom.
Speaker 2:You've always been this size.
Speaker 1:Okay, this is you've never been this tiny. Okay, and I'm just like alright, because she's just full on. That's a baby mom. You're not a baby right and I was smaller than her as a baby too, because this girl is huge, and so when she sees it, she's like mm-hmm, I know, I look how big I am. No, they know it, it's almost like she understands that she's huge, so I should have been huge, but right, right, yeah right, baby logic, Children man, I swear.
Speaker 2:Okay. Um, so our podcast is Probably not gonna be your average podcast of mothers. Um, we are very much not right in the head more so hard than me and, um, I Saved her life once, but that's a story for another episode, so I don't want to go through that trauma right now. So we are very much like unfiltered, unhinged, just uncensored in every way. Thoughts just becoming in this just goes right out the house. Yeah, and we won't bat an eye.
Speaker 2:Nope, she's gonna say something totally out of left field and I'm gonna go along with it. We're gonna have a whole conversation.
Speaker 1:So it might take her back for a second, because I need to be saying some stuff sometimes or do it something, and she's just like, as you will come to see though, because, yeah, this, this also is by no means a scripted podcast.
Speaker 2:This is gonna be going off of whatever comes to our heads, but we are also moms with Continuous mom brain and we have to have notes to kind of keep us on track. Yeah, hence the notebooks. Um, and yeah, we will probably be getting off track of a lot of subjects. A lot, because my ADHD is a Million miles a minute. The general pick-up in medications other day Serious question, but okay, that was a serious question.
Speaker 2:I was a really serious question. Um, I kind of feel like our goal with this podcast is just kind of to have an outlet for ourselves and kind of encourage and share with other mothers like You're not alone, basically for sure, um, there's probably. We probably aren't like your picture perfect image of a mom or what you would consider a mom to be. We're very much Milfs, hence the name. So I think this is a great outlet for us and for other mothers like us to join in on the craziness. Basically, like you're not alone. Out here we're going to be very positive, very encouraging, sharing stories about our kids, your kids, your mama's kids, all of that. So just come, listen, watch, have a good time with us.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I'm super excited. I'm really excited to hear, like other people's stories because, like I know like some of the stories that we got going are crazy, but like it's just wild when you think you've seen something and then like you are watching something and you see it and you're like I thought I've been through the damn ringer, but this how would you react?
Speaker 1:And then, like this tops my shit like right, and so like I'm excited to hear from like the people that we like accumulate in our little like group here, and like I'm excited to just learn, like about all the stuff.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I'm so excited Okay, I think obviously that goes without saying like we are just over the moon excited for this, for sure. And yeah, I'm glad y'all are here and hope you continue watching and let's get on with the show.
